Et c’est ici qu’on voit des différences … Votre petit protégé (en général votre fils) est, certes, informaticien, mais informaticien en QUOI ?

• Informaticien en programmation, il créé des logiciels, il a donc quelques notions du matériel, mais sans plus.
• Informaticien spécialisé en réseau (les administrateurs systèmes par exemples …) Ils connaissent tout des routeurs Cisco, et des serveurs Mac, mais ne connaissent pas forcément comment démonter un mac par exemple.
• Informaticien hardware (technicien); lui sait vous démonter un ordinateur les yeux fermés …

Beaucoup de boutiques font du PC et du MAC, et ils diagnostiquent des cartes mère HS à tout va (nous en avons toutes les semaines …) alors qu’il s’agit d’un disque dur en panne, ou un trackpad en panne …
